Witty, charming, funny - Myolie is all of these. If this game show had not already shown how intelligent our dear Myolie is, then this show certainly would.
Basically the HK actresses are supposed to describe a mainland actor's personality, and he was supposed to guess what they were saying. Out of the three, Myolie was the last to go, and when asked to provide a difficult description, she rose to the task.

What we love most about this? Raymond's appreciative laughter. He leans in so carefully to listen, then laughs generously. Plus, the camera keeps cutting from Myolie's side to his side throughout. Not surprising, because his reactions are adorable and hard to ignore.
And just for extras, this is a fancam of the event. It's a shame that Raymond and Myolie were placed on opposite ends of the couch, but they still show considerable chemistry, each staring at opposite ends in the midst of all the chatter.
Anybody needing a Rayolie fix after a hard day's work? How about we pull out one of our old favourites?
Last we heard, Myolie appreciates humour in a guy. Only see one guy in that video making her laugh, don't you? And she helps him take his violin. Their actions are totally natural and in sync. It's like they have a natural rhythm together.
Also, translation by my0t1:
"3, 2, Action ...", said the director. Raymond entering the scene while Myolie is placing down the violin on the table ... "So do you remember you used to play violin?", asked Raymond. "No, I don't remember", answered Myolie. "I play violin too. Why don't I play something for you. Perhaps this will jog your memory.", suggested Raymond. Myolie helped Raymond positioned the violin properly. "Thanx", Raymond said. Raymond began goofing off. Myolie laughed along.
"Let's rehearse one more time ... ", shouted the director. "Why don't I play something for you", Raymond said. Then he mumbled something that I couldn't quite make out what he said. Raymond then left the scene ready to rehearse one more time.
"Okay okay ... let's get ready ... 3, 2, 1, action." "So do you remember you used to play violin?", asked Raymond. Looking disappointed, Myolie shook her head, "No, I don't remember." "Why don't I play something for you. Perhaps this will job your memory", suggested Raymond. Raymond began goofing off. This time Myolie joined in. Someone outside the house called our Raymond's name, "Lam Fung, you skipped one line!!" "Yeah, I know. But I don't find any point including the line that I know how to play violin. It's clear that I know. Why don't we just skip this line and go straight to the next?", suggested Raymond. "okay, sure", the man said. He then continued calling Myolie's character name. Myolie responded attentively and the man continued making suggestion about the part where she placed the violin down.
So the Chinese have a saying called 爱屋及乌, meaning, if you love something or someone, you'll love whatever is associated to that thing or person. It's this level of commitment that Raymond shows to Myolie, by kindly leaving a message for her and her fans on her Chinese fanclub site, 三生有杏, even as his hands freeze up (according to himself).
As you may or may not know, in the Chinese language you may often find different characters which sound the same. Therefore by playing around with these identical-sounding characters it acts as a sort of pun.
What Raymond writes on the board is - "肥杏", or "Fat Myolie" (referring, no doubt to her Fei Tien days) becomes "索杏". This "索杏" is actually a play using Myolie's name, and is actually written as "索性". The word "索性" means straight-forward, direct, clear-cut and at times it means "might as well".
To be honest, siaoliao here has no idea what Raymond is trying to say. It could be: A) He thinks that Myolie is direct. B) He thinks that Myolie might as well be Myolie. C) His attitude towards Myolie is always clear-cut. D) They are straightforward with each other. E) Every one or none of the above. XD
Not much of a Chinese teacher, I know. Sorry about that. ^^;
In any case you are free to pick and choose or maybe even offer more explanations for this mysterious phrase of Raymond's.
The important thing is, he cared enough for Myolie and her fans that he decided to write this. And he was also so concerned when he wrote the anniversary year wrongly (it was supposed to be 三生有杏 1st anniversary, not 3rd, like he wrote), and kept reminding the person to photoshop it correctly for him. Evidently, when you're trying to impress someone first, second, even hundredth impressions count.
It's also funny how fans told him to write "I'll be back on your 3rd anniversary" to cover up his mistake, but he said he didn't want to because he wanted to be back on the 2nd anniversary as well. Eager indeed ;D
For those who have watched The Master of Tai Chi, the fishing scene lasted for about...one minute before our dear Hiu Sing and Ji Kwai were interrupted. But! It was pure bliss while it lasted.
Thanks to Raymond fans and their handycams, we've got a behind-the-scenes clip (which, by the way, lasts longer than what eventually made the cut).

I love how Raymond tries to amuse Myolie, again. Flirting much? XD Persistent much? At least that's one Raymond trait we've got down to a pat. And it's interesting how everytime he finishes a take with Ellesmere he immediately glances back at Myolie for a split second. On a side note I'm also very amused by the guy who starts spraying their hair to keep it in shape during almost every break.
A picture speaks a thousand words, and there are quite a few pictures that have surfaced from this one shooting alone. So enough of the talk, pic spamming time! Click for a larger size.
Ah, woe to the poor single shipper of Rayolie, that has to constantly find things to absorb the trauma of seeing Raymond and Myolie paired up with other people.
It's a very sad thing, because Raymond, especially, seems to have dated every female TVB celebrity under the age of 30.
ANYWAY.
In an effort to impress Myolie with his shiny dancing skills, we end up with this:
I like how Raymond tries very hard, dances only for Myolie, and his efforts totally pay off.
Raymond Lam Fung, always smooth with the dancingladies lady.
Ah, the infamous slouching clip. Clips like these are why Rayolites (as in, Rayolie fans) love Raymond fans, especially Chinese ones. Because the Hong Kong media aren't into Rayolie, the average Rayolite's dependence on deliciously obsessive dedicated fans like Raymond's (and sometimes Myolie's) to dish out moments like these is great. These clips are what the Chinese call 探班 clips. Simply put, they are fancams.
This slouching clip is from the set of The Master of Tai Chi.
For the most part you can't see Myolie in the clip, but when he stares out of the frame, well yes, who could it be but Myolie?
Translation: my0t1
The director was talking in the background to a crew including Myolie while Raymond was talking to the man in the clip. (I believe the crew was filming or rehearsing a scene.) Raymond was instantly distracted when he heard Myolie's subtle laughter. "Don't mind her/him, don't mind her/him", the director said (I dunno who he's referring to or who he's talking to) Raymond and the man continued their conversation quietly. The director, on the other hand, had called Myolie's character name twice. He was trying to get all characters positioned theirselves properly. "Like this?", called out Myolie. "Yes, now don't move", said the director. Somehow played the violin in the background for less than a second. After a short while, the crew stopped filming/rehearsing. Raymond slouched a little and said something to Myolie (who's still out of view) who in turn laughed. That's when the view was paned out wide and that's when both Myolie and Raymond slouching and stretching in sync. Raymond said something to the man, or perhaps to Myolie (but definitely he wasn't looking at her at the moment), or perhaps to the camera man while Myolie, for the whole time, was staring at Raymond's mitten. She finally couldn't resist herself from reaching out her hand to touch the mitten. (Perhaps Myo's too cold or perhaps she wanted Raymond's attention ... hehehe ... but I think it's the former ... she looked cold.)
Isn't it great how Myolie manages to ignite this huge grin on his face? And the fact that he instantly distracted by her is adorable. In fact, Myolie herself doesn't give him much of a chance to concentrate on other things, does she? ;)
UPDATE! Towards the end of the clip, you can also hear Raymond saying asking Myolie along to dinner.
We here at Rayolie Moments also suspect, that the slouching may have been Raymond copying, and sort of taking a dig at Myolie.
